The actress is one of Hollywood’s most sought-after young talents, and is currently promoting her films Wind River and Ingrid Goes West.
Elizabeth recently moved into a house on her own, and in spite of her stardom, she still has to deal with everyday problems such as a vermin infestation.
“They fight. They make a lot of noises in the attic and I hear it and (at first) I thought it was maybe just a creature jumping on my roof,” she shared during an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday night (09Aug17).
But the 28-year-old, who is the sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, realised she had a problem with rats after her fruit began to disappear.
“Then, in the morning, a banana was scraped out. Because my sister was over the day before, I was thinking, ‘Did she eat a banana with a fork and then not throw the banana away?’ I couldn’t imagine that a rat decided to skillfully eat one banana.

“So, then the next night I left the bananas again, and it happened again, and then the third night I took away all the fruit, and they got into my shallots and garlic and took it out of the bowl and ate it on the stove top.”
Elizabeth has employed a pest controller named Ernie to sort the issue, but admits that he’s become like her “roommate” because of her “constant” problems.
“I hope Ernie sees this one day because he and I hang out a lot,” she laughed.
